Whether staying for a weekend, a season, or somewhere in between, The Quiet Collection offers a more considered way to experience the Lake District — one shaped by calm spaces, meaningful connection, and the quiet luxury of having time to yourself.

A collection of places shaped by landscape, design and a slower pace of living.

The Quiet Collection brings together a small number of considered stays in the Lake District and beyond – spaces created for gathering well, resting properly, and reconnecting with the people and places around you. Each property shares a common approach: understated luxury, thoughtful design, and an atmosphere that never asks too much of your attention.

From restored Victorian houses and converted barns to contemporary chalet-style apartments, every stay within the collection is rooted in comfort, simplicity and a strong sense of place. Interiors draw from Scandinavian influences and natural materials, balancing warmth with restraint. Spaces are designed not simply to stay in, but to live in – slowly, easily, and well.

There are no fixed itineraries here. Only places designed to help you slow down and settle in.

At the heart of the collection sits The Heaning Estate, a luxury self-catering estate near Windermere set across five acres of gardens, meadow and countryside views. Alongside it, Meadow Brow and its adjoining apartments offer a quieter hillside retreat, where panoramic landscapes and chalet-inspired interiors create a more secluded pace of escape.

Together, the collection offers something increasingly rare: the freedom to choose how you spend your time. Gather family and friends around long tables. Retreat to the countryside for a few quiet days away. Host a celebration, a workshop, or simply take space from the rhythm of everyday life.
